私達は今何処にいて、何処に向かおうとしているのか。
秋月正徳は段ボールや針金を中心素材として用い制作している。水平垂直の構成を中心に曲線が入
り、ブリキの板や針金が入ることで複雑な構成となっている。作品の構想はミサ曲などからイメージ
される。ミサ曲の重なり合う音や旋律によって生まれる響きを、また荘厳さ重厚さ繊細さの織りなす
リズムの流れを表現しようとした。
秋月典子は木、石膏、紙など様々な素材を使ってきたが現在は麻を中心素材として制作している。
時には立体で、時には平面でその時々のイメージに合わせて制作している。朽ちた木や錆びた鉄から
は時の流れを思い起こす。その隙間から出てくる大小の芽は新しい命の始まり。暗く困難な時代だか
らこそ春が訪れ再生していく命の輝きや希望を表現したいと願っている。

Where are we now and where are we going?
AKIZUKI Masanori uses cardboard and wire as his main materials. The composition is complicated by
the inclusion of curved lines around a flat vertical configuration, and tin plates and wires. The
conception of the artwork is inspired by the Mass music. He tried to express the resonance created by
the overlapping notes and melodies of the Mass, and the rhythmic flow of the solemnity, heaviness, and
delicacy of the music.
AKIZUKI Noriko has used a variety of materials including wood, plaster, and paper, but currently works
primarily with hemp. Sometimes she works in three dimensions, and sometimes in two dimensions,
according to the image of the moment. The rotting wood and rusted iron remind us of the passage of
time. The buds, large and small, that emerge from those gaps are the beginning of new life. She hopes
to express the brightness of life and hope that spring will come and regenerate itself in these dark and
difficult times.
