和田友明写真展「魅　惑」

2004年、写真をやっていた友人の誘いをきっかけに撮影を始めた。同年秋には大分県美展に初出品し、幸運にも初入賞。それ以来、写真の魅惑に引き込まれ、今日まで楽しみながら撮影を続けている。さまざまな写真展に足を運ぶなかで、自分なりの視点を模索し、表現の幅を広げてきた。近年は、一般的な構図や視点にとらわれず、独自のアプローチを探求しながら、新たな表現の可能性を追い求めている。被写体に向き合うたびに、光の移ろいや造形の美しさに改めて魅了され、瞬間の輝きを捉えることの奥深さを実感している。私にとって、写真の原点は「光」。どんな瞬間も、光の捉え方ひとつで作品の印象が大きく変わる。その光と造形が織りなす美学を、本展を通じて感じていただければ幸いです。

和田友明（わだ・ともあき）

1948年、大分県由布市生まれ。現在、大分市在住。2004年より大分県の自然を中心に撮影を始める。以降、作品制作に取り組む。大分県美展や九州国画会（現：九州創光会）など、各種公募展に出品し、受賞を重ねる。光や造形の美しさにこだわり、独自の視点で自然の魅力を追求している。本展は、自身にとって初の個展となる。 

WADA Tomoaki Photo Exhibition “Fascination”

In 2004, I started taking pictures at the invitation of a friend who was into photography. In the fall of the same year, I exhibited for the first time in an open competition in Oita　and was fortunate enough to win a prize for the first time. Since then, I have been enjoying photography and have been drawn into the fascinating world of photography. I have visited various photo exhibitions to explore my own perspectives and broaden my range of expression, and in recent years I have been seeking new perspectives and approaches that others do not take, in pursuit of new forms of expression. The starting point of photography is “light”. The impression of any given moment can be greatly changed by the way light is captured. I hope you can feel the aesthetics of the interweaving of light and form through this exhibition.

WADA Tomoaki：Born in 1948 in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture, and currently based in Oita City, he has specialized in nature photography since taking up photography in 2004. He has actively participated in various public exhibitions, including the Oita Prefecture Art Exhibition and the Kyushu Kokuga-kai (now the Kyushu Sokokokai), and has won many awards. He continues to express the charm of nature from his unique perspective, while valuing the beauty of light and form.
